Interim Rental Registry

On or before July 1, 2024, and by July 1 of each subsequent year, a Landlord must register with the each Rental Unit that is rented or available for Rent for a term exceeding thirty (30) consecutive days by filing a rental registration. After initial Rental Unit registration, a Landlord shall notify the Department and update the rental registration within thirty (30) days of the start of a new tenancy or any subsequent change in tenancy or ownership.

What you need to know: 

  • Currently, there is no fee associated with submitting the rental registration form. 
  • Submit the form in-person at City Hall located at 5220 Santa Ana St, Cudahy CA 90201 or through email at [email protected]
  • Landlords are encouraged to submit the rental registry form now, in order to avoid delays in the future.
